Westbourne St, Hove

This Mornington Shaker kitchen in Hove, East Sussex was featured on Channel 4 and George Clarke's Old House, New Home. Our clients, Alex and Andrea, were introduced by their main contractor Empire Construction Group and approached us with a clear vision for a timber Shaker kitchen with subtle woodgrain showing through the paint finish.

After visiting our showroom to discuss ideas and drawings, we generated a kitchen design based on their must-have items and aesthetic requirements. They then met us at the PWS Design Centre in Slough to view the full kitchen collection at the flagship showroom — that visit gave them the chance to see large-format worksurfaces and every colour option available before committing.

Working closely with the couple, main contractor, architect and interior designer there were a lot of ideas thrown around the table; after much discussion on every detail of this stunning kitchen, the final result was immaculate. 

We wanted a timber door with the subtle woodgrain showing through so the Mornington Shaker range was chosen; finished in paint to order colour, Charcoal.

Neolith kindly supported this project by supplying their ultra compact range in Estatuario; we then fabricated & installed the worksurfaces with full cladding on the hob run and waterfall end on the exposed peninsular with our worksurfaces partner, PWS.
