Margery Hall, Reigate

This Remo handleless kitchen in Reigate, Surrey was a true collaboration with our client Alex, a working carpenter who came to us already knowing precisely how he wanted the space to function — and the technical detail of how to achieve it.

Alex's joinery background meant the brief landed quickly. We worked together to maximise usable cabinetry across the room while minimising fillers — those panel gaps between units that always feel like wasted space — and to ensure every drawer and door fitted exactly to the architecture of the kitchen rather than the architecture being forced to accommodate the kitchen. The result is a noticeably tight, considered installation where every cabinet earns its place.

The visual scheme runs on contrast: a balanced light-and-dark palette on the cabinetry, anchored by a polished concrete floor underfoot and finished overhead with 20mm Strata Snowfall Quartz worksurfaces. The reduced 20mm thickness keeps the worktop silhouette modern and slim — visually quiet so the cabinetry can carry the room.
