Erpingham Road, Putney
This kitchen design was strongly led by the client; they had a clear vision of what they wanted in terms of layout and cabinet design/features. The client had even sketched their kitchen design when coming to view our kitchen collections at our Slough showroom, giving the designer loads of great information from the start. All that needed to be done was work out the details of fitting and finishing whilst suggesting some minor improvements to make the kitchen design 'work' from a technical stand point.
This traditional kitchen comprises of two ranges; the main kitchen and island from our Fitzroy collection; a smooth shaker kitchen range and a separate larder unit from our 1909 Shaker collection, a traditional in frame kitchen range, both finished in Charcoal. This stunning colour has a mixture of dark and blue tones which changes in the light. Coupled with the striking and veiny worksurface, Strata Statuario, the impact is bold but warm. We also continued the worktop up behind the sink with this stunning cladding. The 1909 Shaker is a traditional in frame kitchen and part of our premium kitchen ranges; this solid alder wood door and frame can be fitted with traditional butt hinges and notched doors or with more modern, hidden Blum hinges. For the main feature, the kitchen larder unit, we used our bi-fold door system allowing easily access to the space in order to make teas and coffees but hide everything away if required.
Some of the other features of this kitchen include an array of integrated appliances, including a full size integrated dishwasher, full size fridge freezer, inner column freezer as well as a Quooker hot tap. I also love the brass bar, knurled handles which really set off the kitchen.
Finally, this kitchen utilises a number of storage solutions, such as dual 150 pull outs housing baking trays and spices either side of the hob, a full larder pull out for dried foods and of course, an integrated pull out bin.
