Description

Mornington Vale is a five-piece door in solid ash with an ash-veneered MDF centre panel, 20mm thick, with flush joints and a routered in-frame effect. On a genuine in-frame kitchen the door sits inside a visible cabinet frame: it costs considerably more, eats into the internal width of every cupboard and makes the planning harder. Vale reproduces that shadow line on a standard lay-on carcase, so you keep the look and the usable space.

The ash grain shows through the matt painted finish, which is the difference between a timber door and an MDF or foil one — and a timber door can be repainted years later rather than replaced. Available sanded and ready to paint, in Oak or Taupe Grey from stock, through the Paint Plus collection of nine colours, or in the full Paint-to-Order palette.

The beaded version is Mornington Beaded Vale. Without the in-frame effect, the same door is Mornington Shaker.
