Belsay Smooth

Belsay Smooth is built as a true five-piece Shaker, four frame pieces around a centre panel, rather than routed from a single board — so the joints read correctly at close range. The frame is 94mm, noticeably narrower than a traditional Shaker, and the inner edge is angled rather than square. The surface is a matt smooth foil over a 19mm MDF core, finished with a subtle 1mm edge profile.

Six colours are held in stock: Porcelain, Cashmere, Dove Grey, Taupe Grey, Indigo and Reed Green. A bespoke door service covers sizes outside the standard range. Because the foil is unpainted the finish is identical from door to door, which is worth knowing on a long galley run or a large island where paint variation between batches would show. Fira Gold certified.

For the same door with visible grain, see Belsay Woodgrain; for a classic inner bead, Belsay Beaded.
