Aalborg

Aalborg is a five-piece door in solid ash with an ash-veneered MDF centre panel, 22mm thick, with flush joints and a chamfered edge. What sets it apart is the frame: 20mm, against 94mm for Belsay and 115mm for Milbourne. The centre panel sits just 3mm below the frame, so the shadow line is a hairline rather than a groove. It reads as Shaker close up and almost flat from across the room — a good answer if you want traditional construction in a contemporary space.

The reverse is painted to match the front, which matters on an island or anywhere the backs of doors are visible.
